Altea
Altea - a small tourist town 10 miles north of Benidorm, famous since Phoenician times. Moors who came here after the city rebuilt its own way, and called it "Altaya" which means "health for all." Altea is situated on a hill, from the top of that, since the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary offers a breathtaking view of the bay and the mountains of the Sierra de Bernis.
